Feature of the Week – Quick Album Edits and Approvals

One of the keys to an awesome album workflow is quickly receiving album approvals, making the changes and sending the album off to the album company as quickly as possible. In this feature of the week, we’ll take a look at using Album Proofer and Album Builder together in tandem.

Proofing Your Album

I first started doing wedding photography in Japan. And while my spoken Japanese is quite fluent, my written Japanese has a lot to be desired. I would receive long emails from brides describing album changes. I had to have my wife decipher them for me. That is when Album Proofer was first born. My Japanese reading ability was good enough if I knew what photo the bride was talking about.

With Album Proofer, the bride and groom simply tag the photo that they need changed, much like you do on Facebook. Here is a sample of it in action.

With any type of Album Proofing, it’s key to both have a great presentation and also be in control.

Album Proofer has a fantastic slideshow and also the ability to enable Album Agreements with the brides, i.e., they can’t make any album changes until they agree to your terms of service.

Revisions

Being able to upload revisions to a client, allowing clients to see the changes you’ve made from revision to revision is key. In this screenshot, see how there are multiple revisions for this album?

Quick Album Builder Edits

Editing album designs in Album Builder is a piece of cake. Simply select the image you want to replace.

Select the image you want to replace it with and click “Place” or “Place From Bridge.”

Easy as pie.
